About ChordsLib
Hi! I'm Christian, a guitar player and a software engineer.
ChordsLib is a personal project I started for my own use. As a guitar enthusiast, I was tired of navigating cluttered websites filled with ads and pop-ups just to find a simple chord diagram or a tuner. I wanted a clean, fast place to gather the resources I actually use during my own practice sessions.
This is a hobby project built out of a passion for learning the instrument. Since I found it useful to have everything in one place without distractions, I decided to make the site public. If you find these tools helpful in your own playing, you are more than welcome to use them.
What's Here
The site currently includes the tools I find most useful for daily practice:
- Chord library – Simple visual guides and finger positions for various chords and voicings.
- Online Guitar Tuner – A straightforward tool to help you stay in tune directly through your browser.
- Common Progressions – A collection of standard chord patterns to help with rhythm practice and songwriting.
- Video links & PNGs – Curated YouTube tutorials for each chord, and the ability to save diagrams for offline use.
A Small Disclaimer
Please keep in mind that I am not a professional music teacher. This site is a learning tool for myself as much as for anyone else, and I cannot guarantee that everything is 100% theoretically correct.
If you spot a mistake, have a suggestion for a progression, or just want to say hi, I’d appreciate it if you let me know!
